Fuel Oil Driver
Perform safe, efficient deliveries of petroleum products to various locations. Specific job duties are as follows: Drive a 36,000 + GVW oil truck, load product from oil terminal loading rack, deliver product to locations where remote hose connection is required, account for product inventory by preparing accurate daily records, communicate with dispatcher and delivery department over a radio, understand and comply with DOT safety requirements, and comply with HOP Energy dress and comportment policies. A current and valid DOT CDL license for proper weight /classification with a hazardous materials endorsement required. A valid physical exam and medical card also required. Fuel Oil Drivers must be able to pull delivery hose with weight up to 100 pounds.
Service Technician
Install and service automatic oil burners, as well as other heating equipment and associated systems in homes and commercial locations. Specific job duties are as follows: Drive a 11,000 GVW service van, service oil fired heating systems, maintain accurate repair and parts records, communicate with dispatcher and service department over a radio, comply with HOP Energy, State and Federal safety requirements, and comply with HOP Energy dress and comportment policies. 2-4 years related experience and or training required. A current, valid driver’s license and occupational license required. Service Technicians must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds.
